A European organization active in waste management for industry and government is required by law to record all waste streams, from source to final product processing. No out-of-the-box solution was available for this. The organization had to deal with a complex IT landscape as well as the desire to make the entire chain transparent. For this waste processor, we developed a digital waste passport based on the Mendix platform. In this way, the entire process is digitally recorded from A to Z which ensures a completely transparent supply-chain.
In practice: KYC
A business service provider was looking for a user-friendly solution to support their Know Your Customer process. At different points in their business process, different aspects needed to be able to be validated. Who is the client, is the client financially sound and has the client never experienced fraud? The existing solution was a combination of several separate applications and documents. Not ideal nor compliant with existing laws and regulations. For this organization, we used the Mendix platform to realize a solution that supports the entire process in one application in a short period of time.
